Israel will grant citizenship to non-Jewish parents of Israeli soldiers. The government approved on Sunday the proposal by Interior Minister Avraham Poraz, which came in response to the near-deportation of an immigrant soldier’s non-Jewish mother, reversed in 2002 after he was killed in action.
