Three Israeli actors left here for Poland today to stage readings of works by Sholom Aleichem, by invitation of the Polish Government’s Ministry of Culture. They are Shmuel Rodenski, Shmuel Segal and Eliyahu Goldberg.
The well-known actors are the first Israeli artists to visit Poland since the establishment of Israel. They will hold their debut performance at the Ida Kaminska Theatre auditorium, in Warsaw, August 20, and are scheduled to do their readings also at Lodz, Krakow and other Polish centers.
