Israeli civil servants with dubious academic degrees from Latvia are still eligible for benefits, a Supreme Court justice ruled. Theodor Orr overturned Thursday a Civil Service Commission decision to invalidate Latvian degrees that thousands of personnel, including Knesset members and senior police chiefs, had earned by correspondence course.
