Israeli forces withdrew from areas around a village straddling Israel’s border with Lebanon. UNIFIL, the south Lebanon peacekeeper force, said Tuesday that soldiers’ positions around the northern part of Ghajar had withdrawn, leaving only the garrison inside the part of the village that falls inside Lebanese territory.
