Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres met with Alexander Solzhenitsyn during his visit to Russia this week and invited the Nobel Prize-winning author to visit Israel, according to Moscow press reports. The 82-year-old Solzhenitsyn declined, saying he is busy writing, including a book “on Jewish-Russian relations.”
