Israeli ground forces fought Hezbollah to control a village near the Israeli border. A relatively small ground force entered Lebanon last Friday evening. It was a rare ground incursion since July 12, when Hezbollah launched fighting with a cross-border raid. The bulk of Israeli attacks have been by combat aircraft.
