Israeli left-wing groups launched an initiative to raise funds for Israeli soldiers and police taking part in the Gaza Strip withdrawal. Peace Now, the Labor Party and the kibbutz movement are among the groups that have come together in the initiative, which will distribute care packages during the withdrawal, slated to begin Aug. 15.
