Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said Israel faces an opportunity to make political progress in the wake of President Bush’s Mideast address last week. Speaking after meeting with President Moshe Katsav on Monday, Sharon said Israel was in close contact with the United States in an effort to make progress on the diplomatic track.
