Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the Palestinians are not doing enough to curb violence by Muslim extremists. Netanyahu’s comments came as Israeli and Palestinian officials met in Jerusalem two days before U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright is scheduled to arrive in the region. Albright is hoping to prod the two parties closer to reaching a deal on a U.S. proposal that calls on Israel to withdraw from a further 13 percent of the West Bank in exchange for a Palestinian crackdown on terrorism.
