Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak’s security adviser vowed the country would help its Christian militia allies in southern Lebanon who fear revenge following a planned Israeli withdrawal from the region. Danny Yatom said Israeli officials would help members of the South Lebanon Army find places to live in Israel or abroad should they decide to leave Lebanon.
