Israeli scientists have more freedom from restrictions that prevent U.S. scientists from making progress against paralysis, Christopher Reeve said. Speaking over the weekend to the American Friends of Hebrew University in Florida, the paralyzed actor said, “Israel is leading the world” in stem-cell research that is providing clues to treating paralysis.
