Israeli settlers threatened to destroy their greenhouses in the Gaza Strip after negotiations to sell them to the United States for Palestinian use failed. Eytan Hadari, the farmer negotiating the deal, said he ordered bulldozers to destroy 1,000 acres of greenhouses after failing to secure $15 million from the U.S. Agency for International Development.
