Israeli soccer fans were detained in the Netherlands. Some 200 supporters of Maccabi Tel Aviv were taken off a Turkish Airlines flight bound from Amsterdam to Tel Aviv on Wednesday after scuffling with the cabin staff, local authorities said. Some offenders were questioned by police and fined. According to Israeli media reports, the fracas erupted when a fan discovered he had no seat on the flight. On Tuesday, Maccabi lost a match to Ajax Amsterdam, 3-0.
