Israeli special forces killed five Palestinians in the West Bank. The targets of Thursday’s predawn raids in and around Tulkarm were members of Islamic Jihad on Israel’s wanted list. Security sources said the fugitives had been involved in recent attacks and were planning to launch a suicide bombing in Israel.
