Israeli troops thwarted an Islamic Jihad attack in the Gaza Strip. Israeli troops opened fire last Friday night after spotting a suspicious figure and an explosion on the Karni-Netzarim road. Searches in the morning found the body of the Islamic Jihad member, armed with an explosives belt, a Kalashnikov and two anti-tank rockets.
