Israel’s attorney general halted funding for settlement expansion in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The Justice Ministry said Thursday that Menachem Mazuz issued the order to the Construction and Housing Ministry based on concern that some of the funds were being used to build illegal settlement outposts.
