Israel’s chief Ashkenazi rabbi left Sunday on a secret visit to an unnamed Muslim country with ties to Iran. Rabbi Yona Metzger was to be the personal guest of the president of the country and discuss the situation of missing and captured Israeli soldiers, Israel Radio reported.
