Israel’s High Court of Justice ruled that a fervently Orthodox Jew who immigrated to Israel from the United States should be extradited immediately to the United States, where he faces fraud charges involving some $20 million. The court also rejected Haim Berger’s request that if convicted, he be allowed to serve his sentence in Israel.
