Israel’s Interior Ministry registered a woman’s lesbian partner as her son’s second mother. The move was ordered by the nation’s High Court of Justice, which had ruled in favor of Ruti and Nicole Berner-Kadish, who were living in California when Ruti’s son Matan was born.
