Israel’s Labor Party leader Benjamin Ben-Eliezer and former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of the Likud Party met secretly to mull a possible alliance. The Israeli daily Ha’aretz quoted Labor and Likud party sources as saying that the two discussed the possibility of establishing a unity government after the next national elections, assuming both head their respective parties.
