The local office of the Joint Distribution Committee, which during the postwar years was one of the busiest JDC offices in the world, was closed today. With the liquidation of the last camp for displaced persons at Foehrenwald, near here, completed, there was no longer a need for the Munich office. German headquarters for JDC are maintained at Frankfurt.
