J.E. Ezra, industrialist and father of Sir Alwyn Ezra, is dead here. He was prominent in Jewish affairs and a strict observer of orthodox customs. A brother-in-law of Sir Sassoon J. David, Mr. Ezra was a partner in the firm of Sassoon J. David and Co. and director of a number of mills managed by the firm.
