A proclamation calling on the “citizens of Israel and the people of Israel wherever you may be” to increase their endeavors and “recruit all their strength for the full realization of Zionism and the ideal of the national homeland” was issued during the week-end by the Jewish National Fund “Call of the Land” conference taking place here. The need for continued aid to newly-arriving immigrants, as well as for the programs of afforestation and rejuvenation of the Negev, was also stressed.
