Japan should pressure the Palestinians to dismantle terrorist groups, Israel’s foreign minister said. Silvan Shalom said he made the comments in a meeting Tuesday with Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi. Japan has given more than $630 million to the Palestinian Authority during the past decade.
