Delegates representing five hundred Jewish organizations, societies and lodges yesterday attended the seventh annual convention of the Hebrew Protective Religious Association at the Broadway Central Hotel. Jacob Shapiro presided.

Resolutions calling upon the United States to open its doors to persecuted European Jews and to support the boycott of German-made goods were passed. The parley also condemned restrictions against Jewish pre-medical students.

Magistrate Jonah J. Goldstein, principal speaker, urged the assembled delegates to be more tolerant of each other’s ideas.
