The desecration of the Jewish cemetery of Iserlohn was reported here today. The report said that “playing children” were believed to be responsible for the overturning of 13 tombstones. The perpetrators have not been traced.
At Tauberbischofsheim, southeast of Frankfurt, where 47 tombstones were recently overturned, the hooligans have been identified as “some children” who, according to local police, committed the desecration “for no special reason.”
