The local Jewish community has taken steps to? ind proper accommodation for nearly 400 refugee children from Europe who will be brought to Canada within the next few months under the auspices of the Canadian Jewish Congress. A group of 250 children is expected before the end of the year. A conference called by the Canadian Jewish Congress was held here under the chairmanship of B.S. Robinson to discuss placement of the children.
