The Central Council of Jews in Germany, at the conclusion of a two-day conference here, issued a statement last night emphasizing that the situation of the Jews in Germany desires constant watching in view of the fact that former leading members of the Nazi party are again coming to power.

The statement pointed out that the Nazis are regaining their positions in government offices and that they enjoy the support of a large part of the German population in “glorifying the memory of mass murderers” who directed the annihilation of Jews in Germany and in Nazi-occupied countries in Europe.
