Jewish groups are protesting a statement by a member of the New York Knicks basketball team in which he said Jews were responsible for the death of Jesus and are persecuting Christians “every day.” Charlie Ward’s comments in The New York Times Magazine revive the “historic myths that have been the source of anti-Semitism for centuries,” the Anti-Defamation League said in a statement.
