Jewish leaders criticized the U.K.’s main Muslim umbrella group for claiming a pro-Israel lobby had influenced BBC filmmakers. In an open letter sent to BBC’s director general, Mark Thompson, the Muslim Council of Britain said the makers of a documentary about the organization were swayed by “highly placed supporters of Israel in the media.”
