A number of Jewish leaders from East European countries have indicated their intention of attending a Warsaw Ghetto Revolt memorial which will be held here November 5, the sponsoring committee announced today. No response has been received from the Soviet Union which was also invited.
Among those accepting invitations were Chief Rabbi David Rosen of Rumania, Chief Rabbi Imre Benoschofsky of Hungary, Endre Sos, president of the Hungarian Jewish Consistory, and a delegation from Yugoslavia of members of Croatian Jewish communities led by A. Centner, a member of the Croatian Supreme Court.
All participants also have been invited to take part in a ceremony which will be held at the Monument to the Unknown Jewish Martyr. French Minister for War Veterans Triboullet and Dr. Nahum Goldmann will preside at the second ceremony.
