Jewish leaders in Los Angeles are dismayed by the firing of the ADL’s local representative. The dismissal of David Lehrer “does not compute,” said Zev Yaroslavsky, a leading Jewish politician in Los Angeles. For its part, the ADL said in a statement that the group is “undertaking steps to strengthen our leadership and development efforts” in Los Angeles.
