Jewish officials met with members of the Eastern Orthodox Church as part of ongoing efforts to maintain an interfaith dialogue. Leading the Jewish delegation at Monday’s meeting in Athens was Israel Singer, chairman of the International Jewish Committee on Interreligious Consultations. The Orthodox delegation was led by Metropolitan Emmanuel of France.
