Vladimir Horowitz, noted concert pianist and son-in-law of Arturo Toscanini, conductor of the Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, engaged passage for Europe on the North German Lloyd liner Europe, according to a press release issued by the publicity department of the line on Friday.
