On a six-months’ trip into the Far North, traveling by dog sled, boat and air-plane, Dr. Victor E. Levine, professor of biological chemistry and nutrition at Creighton University of Omaha, passed through Seattle this week.
Accompanied by Dr. Charles W. Bauer, also of Creighton, Dr. Levine will seek to find a tribe of Eskimos, living in primitive environment, who are taller than the average of their race. It is the scientists’s purpose to determine the secret of the tribe’s difference as well as the average life span of the Eskimo. Several years ago he completed a similar study of natives of Labrador and Baffin Land.
