Jewish students here have asked the Swiss Government to intervene with the Polish Government on behalf of Jewish and non-Jewish students who face secret trials in Warsaw on charges of having incited student unrest in Poland last spring. The Union of Jewish Students also sent a telegram to the Polish Ambassador in Berne which said, “We urgently request you to put an end to the trials against the students in your country and ask that your Government free the students who were imprisoned.”
