Jewish Students Strike Against ” Ghetoo” Classes

April 19, 1923
See Original Daily Bulletin From This Date

Jewish students of the technical high school here struck yesterday, declaring they will not return to the classes before they obtain satisfaction for the indignities they are made to suffer by the faculty and students. In addition to having their number limited by the percentage norm now in force, separate desks have been placed in special corners of the classrooms numbered: Jew #1 Jew #2, etc. Anti-Semitic students in each class hung a big placard over the corner occupied by the Jews, marked “Ghetto”.
