Jewish Veterans of Czechoslovak Army En Route to Palestine; Fought with Red Army

Two-hundred and ninety-four Jewish veterans of the Czechoslovak forces that fought with the Red Army on the Eastern front, have departed for Marseille, en route to Palestine. They were accompanied by their families. Their emigration was facilitated by the War and Welfare Ministries. Transportation costs are being paid by the JDC.
