Jewish War Veterans Convention Criticizes Mccarthy’s Tactics

The 1,000 delegates attending the 25th annual New York State convention of the Jewish War Veterans today adopted a resolution calling Sen. Joseph R. McCarthy of Wisconsin a “present and inherent danger to the American form of constitutional government.” The delegates were addressed by Congressman Franklin D. Roosevelt. Jr., and Harold Riegelman, former New York City mayoralty candidate and a leader of the American Jewish Committee.
