A memorandum accusing sections of the Austrian press of using Nazi methods to attack and discredit the Jews here and abroad was submitted to the Austrian Government today by the newly formed federal organization of Austrian Jewish communities.

The memorandum charged that several of the Austrian newspapers gave evidence of an active, Nazi-type anti-Semitism and called on the government for measures to protect the Jewish community against libel and slander.
