Jews will not be admitted to membership in the Austrian Ski-ing Federation. according to the decision adopted by the Conference of the Federation held at Salzburg.
The Conference considered the resolution passed by the ninth International Ski-ing Conference in February that the paragraphs in the Constitution of the Austrian Federation limiting membership to Arvans should be deleted, and decided that on fundamental grounds the Federation could not accept the ruling of the International Congress. By this action the Austrian Ski-ing Federation has automatically expelled itself from the International Federation, which declared definitely at its Congress that the Austrian Federation could not remain affiliated unless it deleted the Aryan clauses.
After voting a number of Austrian Ski-ing Clubs and several individual members declared that they were leaving the Austrian Federation because they could not accept its decision.
