Jews in Belgrade published a book of memoirs of Holocaust survivors from the former Yugoslavia. Titled “How We Survived,” the English-language book includes accounts of how some Jews survived the Holocaust. Funded by a Holocaust survivor from Serbia who now lives abroad, the book, launched this month, is a translation of part of a two-volume edition of Holocaust testimonies published in Serbian.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
