Israel’s community of 350,000 Jews of Rumanian origin has selected 424 delegates to represent them at a two day conference beginning November 6 to discuss plans to ease the social and economic absorption of newcomers in Israel and the integration of various immigrant groups into the nation’s society. The conference will be opened by Prime Minister Levi Eshkol. Itzhak Koren, chairman of the Rumanian Immigrants Association, will be the principal speaker.
