emphasized the need for continuing the fight against anti-Semitism because of the danger that hundreds of thousands of voters who supported Hitler, and who are interested in the Jewish problem, may gradually take an active part in the anti-Semitic activities.

While this conference was in session it was learned that all of the Jewish Socialists elected to the Reichstag, with one exception, had severed their connections with the Jewish Community, becoming “confessionless,” because the Socialist party during the elections had issued a slogan that its “candidates must be confessionless.” The Socialists leaders were influenced to take this step by the labor masses who did not want Jewish candidates.
