Funeral services were held here today for Jochanan L. Rudavsky, Zionist leader and a founder of the United Jewish Appeal, who died yesterday at the age of 67. A native of Poland, he came to the United States when he was 12, and attended local schools. He was graduated from New York University Law School in 1917 and practiced law in Brooklyn for 40 years.
He was a founder of the Brooklyn region of the Zionist Organization of America, and served as its president. He was also associate secretary of the Zionist Council of Greater New York and helped to found the UJA in New York. He was UJA chairman in Brooklyn for many years chairman of the Hebrew Camp Massad and a past chairman of the presidium of the Histadrut Ivrit, and a member of the ZOA administrative committee for 13 years.
