Jordan’s King Hussein will ask the United States to lift her arms embargo and ship weapons to Jordan, it was disclosed today by the Jordanian Embassy here. Arab diplomats said Hussein is expected to meet with President Johnson, Secretary of State Dean Rusk, and military authorities. They said Hussein is expected in Washington between November 6 and 8.

The King will appear also before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to explain the Jordanian position, it was disclosed. The meetings were discussed at a conference between Secretary of State Rusk with Foreign Minister Abdel Moneim Rifai, of Jordan.
