Kalamazoo Mayor, Christian, is Co-chairman of Local Israel Bond Drive

The Mayor of Kalamazoo, Michigan, a leading Christian layman, today accepted the post of co-chairman of the local Israel bond campaign and immediately set to work to line up the entire community behind the drive. Mayor James S. Gilmore, Jr. , as the first step in assuming this responsibility, purchased $13, 000 in Israel bonds. Mr. Gilmore and other members of his family have bought a total of $20, 000 in Israel bonds this year.
