A. Sigmund Kanengieser. Vice Grand Master of the Independent Order Brith Sholom who has been active in Brith Sholom affairs for twenty years, has assumed the duties of Grand Master made vacant by the death of Solomon C. Kraus.
Since 1920 Mr. Kanengieser has been the secretary of the Bnai Abraham Synagogue of Newark. He has been Vice Grand Master since 1927.
