Mayor Teddy Kollek of Jerusalem and senior Israeli officials are planning to boycott the Bastille Day reception to be held at the French Consulate here Thursday.
They are protesting the French practice of holding separate receptions for Jewish and Arab dignitaries on their national holiday, which a spokesman called “an apartheid policy by France.”
