A contribution of $20,000 towards the $1,000,000 Fund-Raising Program of the Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society for the continuation of its 1941-42 “Rescue Through Emigration” services in the United States and abroad, has been voted by the International Ladies’ Garment Workers Union, Isaac L. Asofsky, HIAS Executive Director, announced today.
